Rufskin New York just celebrated it’s first year anniversary by unveiling their 2013 Spring/Summer Collection.  NYC owner John Thompson and General Manager Paul Abrantes hosted the event and included brand co-owners Douglas Coats and Hubert Pouches.  Also on hand were models Logan, Timmy and Neil. 

The Spring/Summer Collection weaves together the essence, colors, and sensibility of Catalonia in Southern France and Spain.  Hubert Pouches, owner and head designer of RUFSKIN, now in it’s 11th year of production, goes back to his roots, inspired by the esthetics of the region that is also home to Salvador Dali, Joan Miro, and Pablo Picasso.  Paying homage to Catalonia, the collection interprets it’s culture and people through the lens of men’s clothing.

This year’s “Oscars of Escorting” proved to be cleverly fun and sexy!  Hosted by Sharon Needles, the reigning season-four winner of RuPaul's Drag Race, the Hookies honored 16 adult categories including Best Newcomer, Best Twink, Best Pornstar, Best Top, Best Ass, Best Body, Best Bear or Cub, Best Kink/Fetish, Best Go-Go Dancer, Best Dressed, Best Cock,  Best Masseur, Best Boyfriend Fantasy, Best Daddy, Best Website/Social Media, and the biggest award of the night, Mr. International 2013 Escort of the Year.

The dynamic duo at Humanity Pride, Jarl Haugedal and Michael Billy have partnered with Greenlight Films to produce a very smart satire on the parental ignorance teens face when coming out.   In the video, Peyton (16 years-old) comes out to his two gay dads as straight.  In this hiliarious turn around of events, the two fathers struggle in embracing the news of their son's shocking announcement?  

Great job gentlemen!  With clever charm, the three actors delightfully make their point very clear!  At only 5 minutes, this is a must see, check it out below!

FM:  Tell us a little bit about Volttage, it's success and your plans for the future of the site.

JM:  It's been really inspiring. As you know we launched our dating site aimed at HIV positive men on October 1st.  We have had about 6,000 guys sign up and we are slowly growing.  We have just partnered with The Stigma Project (http://www.thestigmaproject.org/) to do a duel campaign to combat HIV stigma.  And other agencies have started contacting us about working together.  We are really inspired by all the personal messages from guys who have previously felt alone and unwanted and now they feel a part of an online community.

Break out your wings and bow and arrow so that you can aim for a good cause.  The 2013 Cupid's Undie Run starts this Valentine weekend, Saturday February 9, 2013 in a city near you.  Clad on your bedroom best attire and run for a mile to raise proceeds for The Children's Tumor Foundation. 



In addition to the current lineup of New York City, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Seattle, Denver and Cincinnati, this year cupids will also be undie-running in LA, San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, Nashville, Orlando, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Cleveland, St. Louis and Detroit.

In a move that recognizes the growing buying power of the Latino community, Rolling Stone magazine has finally published a special Spanish-language issue after its 45 years in publication.   The issue features Pitbull on the cover and features the 10 best Latin albums in history and spotlights influential figures in literature and acting.

A study by the Pew Hispanic Center released in April 2012 surveyed language use among Latinos and found that among adults 38 percent were classified as bilingual, while the same percent were Spanish dominant and 24 percent were considered English dominant.

Fuerte Men made their public debut in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania November 9^th at the Brillo Box. Their publisher, Sidney Alvarez and three of his Fuerte Men models were on hand to release their 2013 all-male calendar and help raise funds for LGBT anti-bullying efforts, HIV/Aids prevention education, and Hurricane Sandy relief.

“Pittsburgh is a special place for Fuerte Men, this is where I was inspired to create the magazine and it is only right the we premiere the 2013 calendar here in Steel City,” said Alvarez.
