GAYEST SUPER BOWL EVER

GREATEST & GAYEST SUPER BOWL SHOWlarge madonna1

Madonna Brings Edge Back to Halftime

By Sidney Alvarez, Fuerte Men

As the nation prepares to watch the most televised sporting event in the U.S. and the world (Super Bowl XLVI), the most successful female artist of all time, Madonna, says she will put forth the greatest show on earth. Rumored guest artists to join the Queen of Pop include LMFAO, Cee Lo Green, M.I.A., and Nicki Minaj. Madonna’s representatives have not confirmed any of the reports.

However, Black Eyed Peas front man, Will.i.am, has revealed that LMFAO will join Madonna on stage according to Billboard Magazine.

The heavily, heterosexual world of football will meet face to face with one of the most proactive and whole-hearted supporters of gay rights. Madonna has contributed financially to same-sex charities and recognizes her core fan base as homosexual males. Industry insiders have speculated Madonna’s intentions to deliver a solid message of acceptance. If her past concert performances hold true, Madonna will deliver a standpoint that is now a staple in her stage repertoire.

In December, the singer completed the video for her new single called “Gimme All Your Luvin” which features Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. The track will be from her forth-coming album set to release in March called M.D.N.A. The single arrives the last week of January -- just ahead of Madonna's buzzed-about performance at Super Bowl XLVI's halftime show on Feb. 5th

During her three-decade career, Madonna's Nielsen SoundScan-era (1991-present) U.S. album sales stand at 26.9 million, and she holds the record for the most successful tour by a solo artist, according to Billboard Boxscore. The seven-time Grammy Award winner is also a Rock and Roll of Fame inductee. Her last album, 2008's Hard Candy, debuted at No. 1 in 27 countries.

The set list for Madonna’s Super Bowl performance includes “Gimme All Your Luvin,” “Music,” “Vogue,” “Ray of Light,” and “Holiday.”
