GLAAD, the nation's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy organization, announced that Madonna will present journalist, author and talk show host Anderson Cooper with the Vito Russo Award at the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards at the New York ceremony on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the New York Marriot Marquis.

Cooper and Madonna are longtime friends who have both used their careers to raise support for LGBT people around the globe.

Mega gay icon and music hit maker, Colton Ford, is riding high with his new single “Let Me Live Again” which is the #2 breakout song on Billboard's Top 5 Breakouts for this week on the Hot Dance Club Play Chart. 

The video for the single is ready for release and by the looks of the publicity images, the video is going to be smoking hot.  Colton and his entourage are clad in a Tom of Finland and Madonna-ish ‘Justify Your Love’ homage feel.    It is a project we are just too eager to see! 

We will share the video once it comes out!  The single is from his new album “The Way I Am” set for release at the end of April.

Almost an entire year has passed since breakout recording artist Emeli Sandéreleased her hit single “Next To Me” in the UK.  In fact her debut album is rivaling the Beatles as having the most consecutive top 10 weeks for a solo debut album in the UK Charts.  Yet, in the USA, her music is still virtually unknown, until now.  The songstress will be touring the U.S. in hopes of gaining a new fan base and crossing over. 

Her debut album, “Our Version of Events” has sold over 1.4 million copies in the UK, making it the year’s best selling album.  She is also the first solo artist to notch up an unbroken run of 47 weeks inside the Official Albums Chart Top 10 with a debut album from release, and only the second act in history to achieve such a feat behind The Beatles, who scored 62 consecutive weeks.

JENNI RIVERA, DEAD, PLANE CRASH

Mexican authorities are performing DNA test on the remains of Mexican-American singer and reality television star, Jenni Rivera, known as “the Diva of Banda.” Early Sunday morning the plane in which she was traveling crashed outside Monterrey, Mexico, after a performance there. She was 43.

Her death was confirmed by the National Transportation Safety Board. Ms. Rivera was on her way to the Mexico City area, where she was scheduled to tape an episode of the Mexican version of the singing competition show “The Voice,” for which she was a coach.

Don’t’ freak when you see the picture because it is just movie make-up. The poster for Ryan Gosling’s new movie for Only God Forgives is out and causing such a stir!   In a bold move, the folks behind Only God Forgives have opted to showcase a bloody and bruised Gosling. His handsome features, well, no longer there.

The movie is slated to be released in 2013 and is set in Thailand. In the The Oscar-nominated 32 year-old actor plays a crime boss/boxing club owner out for revenge. However, from the look of things, he is the one that get’s messed up.
